VERY IMPORTANT JAM-NEWS

There are important news we would like to share with you: JAM is moving. The trade fair’s future location will no longer be Munich but as
off July 2008 become Cologne. You might ask yourself why? You have a point – as the last JAM was such a great success! Complete
satisfaction amongst the increasing number of visitors and exhibitors. Unfortunately, the available exhibition area in Munich failed to
provide the space needed to accomodate the next JAM. Unable to locate adequate replacement within the Bavarian capital, we were
forced to come up with a solution that would prove to bring great change.

A COSMOPOLITAN METROPOLE

Its population of more than a million people is turning Cologne into one of Germany’s four largest cities. The biggest metropole on the
river Rhein is a cultural and medial one - both factors that characteristically define its image. The huge influence of media, fashion and
lifestyle has also helped to shape its young, cultural scene.

AN EXHIBITION AREA WITH FLAIR

With more than 20.000 m² of exhibition area, Cologne’s Rheinparkhallen offer plenty of space and opportunity
for JAM’s exhibitors and visitors alike. Its riverine location is at the same time very central. During summer time
the huge terrace outsidethe exhibtion area is turned into what is commonly known as Cologne Beach Club
– an ideal place for everyone to relax before, during as well as after the trade fair.

THE SAME OLD JAM WITH A NEW FACE

True to our motto „JAM to the roots“ we will continue to focus on our ambition to organise an order, trend and
information trade fair. Therefore the concept of JAM will remain unchanged: you will again find a widely
spreadrange of brands and of course all those special extra services you became accustomed to in the
past such as our free coffee bars. More appropriately put, JAM is integrating itself in the advantageous
environment of Cologne’s Rheinparkhallen.

AN EVEN GREATER SPECTRUM OF BRANDS

JAM’s sales and marketing manager Günther Sommer had numerous conversations with representatives
of the market’s leading brands before deciding that moving to Cologne was the right thing to do. He con-
cluded: „80% of existing exhibitors immediately gave positive feedback regarding the new location.
Furthermore we were able to acquire a lot of new brands such as Ben Sherman, Campus by
Marc O’Polo, Dickies, Desigual, Eastpak, Lois Jeans, DDP, Phard, One Green Elephant, Relakz
and True ReligionFootwear, to only name a few.“ Take a look at JAM’s online brandlist on
jamcologne.com for more information on this season’s participating brands.
